las! I'm finally back after a 3 day Internet outage. Time to catch up. Today Cyberpunk 2077 on twitter reveals that they have slightly altered their plans for Night City Wire: Episode 3.
Hinting that we'll be seeing PC System Requirements instead of place of music. So it doesn't look like we'll be given a listen to the score or radio station teases come Friday. This will be great news for people building or upgrading their current rigs for Cyberpunk 2077.
Speaking of upgrading pc parts, NVIDIA is launching its RTX 3080 video cards which will drastically improve performance across the board for people that prefer 2K Resolution starting tomorrow at 9:00 AM Eastern time. Which I previously covered their launch event including the a brand new Ray Tracing 4K Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay teaser.
If you're in the market for a new GPU, you might want to consider grab one one tomorrow as it will be near impossible to grab a 3000 series card after the fact for the remainder of the year due to shortages in custom Samsung 8nm chip yields.
Although, on October 28th of this year, AMD is set to finally reveal their Radeon 4000 series video cards.. as they recently unvealed a look at Big Navi yesterday, and recently announced a date for their events. but I highly remain skeptical what they'll offer in the form of DLSS and Ray tracing as this will be their first generation with both technology features. Also to note that both DLSS and Ray Tracing will be available with a Nvidia solution. Do keep that in mind when looking at rasterized performance of these cards.
Once Requirements are released, I'll begin writing hardware and immersion guides for users that really want to get the most out of their money for Low, Medium, High, and Top of the Line tiers of gear.
